This year's Halloween was definitely one for the books! The night before Halloween, I planned a date night for Jordan and I -- I made a great fall dinner (ham, mashed potatoes, and beer bread), we carved pumpkins, and then we got Pumpkin Pie Blizzards from Dairy Queen.
This year we decided to tone it down a little (mostly because Jordan refused to be as ugly as we were last year.) So we went as the Where's Waldo couple! Jordan was Waldo, I was Waldo's girlfriend, Wenda, and Maggie was Waldo's dog, Woof. I did not make up those characters, I swear! Google them and you will see they are real!!
We went over to our friends' house, Shamus and Breanne's, to help pass out candy and hang out before heading to my sister's loft for the big Halloween bash. It turned out to be an awesome party -- everyone went all out with their costumes, which I think is awesome!
Okay, you know how some Halloween costumes are just NOT politically correct in any way? Well, here you go... Jordan as "Joseph" the Mormon, my sister as pregnant wife #1 and Sara as pregnant wife #2. Enough said! :)
Did I mention how awesome I think it is when people get into their costumes?! Check out Mary and Nate as Native American Indians!
Shamus and Breanne went as a bee and a bee catcher -- SO CUTE! I love this picture of them below... I'm pretty sure Shamus got stung! :)
We decided to go out for a little while after the party. I'll leave you with these two pictures as an indication of how that went...
