Matt + Brittany | Engagement

Brittany and Matt's first engagement shoot was rained out, so we rescheduled for July and we definitely did not have even a slight chance of rain! In fact, it was HOT. Like, really hot! But they were total troopers as we trekked to some of my favorite downtown photo spots, and even a few new ones. Things were going so well and Brittany, Matt, and I had totally hit it off... and then Brittany changed into her second outfit, which consisted of these amazingly fun yellow shoes, which totally sealed the deal. :) Combine an awesome couple, bright yellow shoes, graffiti hearts, and downtown Spokane, and you are bound to have a fabulous engagement shoot!

We are so excited to be shooting Brittany and Matt's wedding this fall at Arbor Crest and to have our Photo Booth at their reception! After hanging out with them for a couple hours during their engagement shoot, I know their wedding will be a blast. With that said, here are some Flat 4 favorites of the beautiful Brittany and Matt!

Chris + Taci | Wedding

I have a confession to make... I sometimes choke up at weddings when I'm shooting them. Okay, fine, sometimes it's when we're working the Photo Booth too. There, I said it. But choking up is a far cry (no pun intended) from actual tears. Well, here goes another confession... I cried, like real tears, when I was photographing Chris and Taci's wedding. In my defense, I have known Taci since 6th grade -- we played volleyball together forever and have remained friends ever since -- and, as if that's not enough, "Marry Me" by Train was playing in the background when she was getting ready. I mean, come on, that's not even fair!

I digress.

I LOVED this wedding. Not just because of how much I love Taci and Chris either. Everything was so personal to the bride and groom and all of the details fit the theme perfectly. We started the day downtown where Taci got ready at her mama's salon (side note: Taci's mom, Trista, is a movie star makeup artist, literally... pretty rad!) The ladies took a limo out to the beautiful wedding venue up north, called On River's Edge, which is simply stunning, where Chris saw Taci for the first time. From there, Jordan and I trekked Taci and Chris all over Chattaroy and Elk for some of our favorite photo spots to date! Everything was so perfect and we were so honored to be a part of Chris and Taci's big day...with photography AND the Photo Booth!

Taci and Chris are a beautiful couple inside and out (as you'll see below), and we could not be happier for them! Oh, and we've never met a couple who make each other laugh more than these two do... Check out some Flat 4 favorites from their big day!
